About me
My name is Jamie Masliah and I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, holding a BS degree in Genetics and a minor in Jewish Studies. I graduated in the fall of 2014 and currently work as a project manager at Epic Systems. My inspiration for this project stems from the lab work I was involved in at the lab of Dr. Qiang Chang at the Waisman Center. During my time as a research assistant, I focused on the developmental disorder of Rett syndrome, which closely relates to the neuro-degenerative aspects of Sotos. In my career, I hope to further study and incorporate data like that encompassed in this research to eventually help to treat diseases like this that can have detrimental effects on people's lives.
